Regulation and Attention Skill Building
This group is co-facilitated by an educational psychologist and an occupational therapist. The sessions focus on developing key skills including self-regulation, emotional regulation, and sensory strategies to support overall regulation. Children will also learn to recognize and respond to social cues and build foundational executive functioning skills such as attention, impulse control, and flexible thinking.
In addition to child-focused sessions, the final meeting is dedicated to parents. This session provides valuable resources, practical information, and strategies to reinforce learning at home and support their child's ongoing development. The collaborative approach fosters a supportive environment for both children and families to thrive.

Fun with Fine Motor
Fine motor skills extend far beyond just hand function. Developing foundational skills is essential for robust fine motor development, encompassing a sophisticated interplay of muscle control, sensory integration, and cognitive planning. This foundation is built through a focus on strength, bilateral coordination, and fine motor dexterity, which are critical for everyday tasks at home and at school. A strong foundation will lead to improved motoric fluidity, enhanced coordination, and increased automaticity, preparing your child for academic success (writing, using tools), daily functional activities, and play, fostering confidence and independence.
The final session is dedicated to parents, providing a comprehensive review of the skills learned, resources for continued progress at home, and a collaborative discussion on how to best support each child's unique developmental journey.
