Foundational Math Skills
Our foundational Math Skills workshop for grades K-3 focuses on building essential early math competencies that set the stage for future mathematical success. It includes counting principles, number sense, understanding numerical relationships and operations, and problem solving. Students grasp place value concepts, explore patterns and shapes, and develop their spatial reasoning. Mastery of these foundational skills ensures that students gain confidence and competency in math, preparing them for more complex problem-solving tasks in later grades.

Writing Lab
This group assists students in grades 5-8 to develop clear, organized, and effective writing skills. This group aligns with the school curriculum, focusing on narrative, argument and information writing. Students will focus on paragraph structure, thesis development, transitions, and revising/editing strategies. We utilize the science of writing to help students become stronger, more confident writers.

This intensive prep group, designed for students in grades 5-8, focuses on MCAS reading comprehension and writing tasks. Students will break down prompts, analyze texts, and practice writing well-supported responses using MCAS rubrics and exemplars.
