With the student at the center, our legal team helps families, schools, and districts navigate complex regulations in order to secure equitable educational opportunities and necessary resources. Services include consultation for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), dispute resolution, and protection of students' rights to a free appropriate public education (FAPE).

Education For All
Working with districts and families, we are committed to creating educational environments where students with disabilities thrive. This includes building IEPs that are most effective for the child, communicating with school districts to consult on these supports, and assembling a personalized team to meet your child’s needs.

School Bullying Protection
Both victims and accused aggressors must be afforded protective rights as special education students. We work with families and districts to ensure that the child is protected to the fullest extent of the Massachusetts Bullying Law.

School or Service Termination Support
School termination can be used as a method of intimidation for the most vulnerable students. We work to both protect students’ rights and navigate district options when issues relating to school and/or service termination arise.

Title IX Discipline Laws Oversight
Federal law prohibits sexual harassment, discrimination and bias. We help navigate Title IX rights including legal proceedings for student victims.
